1. In progress at a specific future time

Signal words: at (time), this time tomorrow/next week
2. Natural course of events (polite)
I'll be passing the shop anyway, so I'll get some bread.
Less direct than 'will', sounds more natural/polite.
3. Polite questions about plans
Will you be needing the car tonight?
Softer than 'Are you going to use the car?'
