Do I have to pay to learn here?
No. All 97 grammar lessons from A1 to C1, the tense exercises, the Related Topics comparison drills, Reading, Listening, the vocabulary tests and the level test are free, with a free account and no card. Plenty of people use English Nerd for months and never pay. PRO is for people who want the extra practice tools on top.
Will the free content ever become paid?
No. Everything that is free today stays free. When we build something new for PRO, we add it on top, we do not move a free lesson behind the paywall. That is the whole point of the free layer: it is how people find us and how we stay useful to learners who cannot pay.
What exactly does PRO add?
SpeedRound on every grammar lesson, a printable PDF worksheet with the answer key on 260+ pages, downloadable certificates for the Grammar Level Test and the Vocabulary Test, Watch & Learn film and TV exercises, the progress statistics dashboard, Streak Freeze, 5 premium material packs, and no ads anywhere on the site.
What happens right after I pay?
PRO switches on straight away, usually within a few seconds. Important: pay with the same email you use on English Nerd, that is how your payment finds your account. If you check out while signed in, we attach it automatically. If PRO has not appeared after a few minutes, email hello@englishnerd.cc and we will link it by hand.
How do I cancel?
Account, then Manage subscription. That opens the billing portal where you cancel in one click, no email, no chat, no retention offer. You keep PRO until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing is charged after that.
What happens to my progress if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your account, your lesson history, your streak, your saved words and any certificate you already downloaded all stay exactly where they are. The free content keeps working as before, and the PRO tools lock again until you come back. If you resubscribe later, everything is still there.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes, 7 days. If PRO is not what you expected, email hello@englishnerd.cc within 7 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. No questions, no form, no explanation needed.
Who charges me, and is my card safe?
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. They take card or PayPal, and the charge on your statement comes from them. English Nerd never sees or stores your card details.
Can I use a promo code instead of paying?
Yes. Go to Account, then the Profile tab, and enter the code. Promo codes give full PRO access for 30 or 365 days with no payment and no card.
Is there a student discount?
Yes. We hand out promo codes to students. Write to us from the contact page, tell us where you study, and we will sort you out.
How do teacher plans work?
